  • Are you the same as ThePugLifeStore.com?

    Excellent question! So that’s a yes and no. Pug Life Harness falls under the umbrella that is The Pug Life Store, however, we operate as two separate shops. So if you have any inquiries regarding The Pug Life Store, we recommend heading their way for assistance.

  • I e-mailed support but haven’t heard back.

  • My dog doesn’t pull… is this still a good harness?

    Of course! Our harness isn’t just made to alleviate or eliminate pulling, but it’s a solution for dog owners that have a hard time getting other harnesses on their dog. It’s easy on and easy off! That, and it’s super comfortable for dogs to wear. Collars and other tight harnesses risk damage to the body like the trachea. If your dog isn’t a puller, we recommend using the main D-ring on the back-center of the harness.

  • Can I buy this harness at any retail store?

    Pug Life Harnesses are not available in retail stores and are sold exclusively on PugLifeHarness.com. We take pride in the quality of our product as a family-owned, ecommerce business. This is the mom and pop of dog stores you’re looking for. :)

  • If I can’t buy this harness at a brick and mortar store, how can I trust buying this online?

    We understand there are anxieties involved when it comes to online shopping, but we have an incredible refund policy. We stand by our products 100%, but should you find yourself not satisfied with your order, we will give you a full refund on the product cost excluding shipping within 60 days. You can also hop on over to our main page to watch YouTube videos of our products in use.

  • Do you offer quantity discounts?

    You bet your sweet pug we do! We offer quantity discounts on orders of 6 or more harnesses. Ordering 6 or more? Reach out to us to get a custom coupon code.

  • Don’t harnesses make dogs pull MORE?

    That depends on the make of the harness. Our harnesses on the other hand were designed to be a training tool to alleviate and eliminate the amount of pulling dogs dish out on walks. The side ring technology is what makes this work in addition to the distribution and structure of the fabric.

  • Has this harness been tested and approved by experienced dog trainers?

    Most definitely! You’ll even find videos of them talking about their Pug Life experience on our website.

  • Where are you located and based out of?

    HQ is based out of SUNNY Los Angeles, California!

  • My dog is a houdini and escapes from everything. Will this work and keep them from escaping?

    Every Houdini finds their end and the escapes stop here! These are great for dogs that tend to get out of their harness. You see, dogs are able to escape harnesses due to lack of adjustability for the perfect fit. Even a slight discrepancy in how the harness fits may allow your furbaby to find a way to get out of it. We recommend a slightly snug fit (but not too tight) and your dog won’t be able to back out or escape from it! Need a little assistance in using the harness?   • Can I use these harnesses for my cat?

    We are pro-cat and have customers who have used our harnesses for their cats with no issues, but we do want to remind you…cats are made of liquid so there’s risk with any harness unless it’s the perfect fit. Keep that in mind while you shop!

  • Do I still use this harness once my dog stops pulling?

    Of course! Once the harness has trained your dog to walk beside you, you can start using the main D-ring on the back-center of the harness. You can use the side ring for accessories or leave it be! Up to you.

  • Can I exchange it if it doesn’t fit?

    You most certainly can! Exchanges and returns, however, must occur within 60 days of receiving the product or else the request won’t be honored. You can start the exchange process at this page: https://puglifeharness.com/a/returns

  • Do I have to pay an additional fee for shipping on the exchange or return?

    Exchanging an item for a different size or color? It’s FREE! The return process is simple! If you’re returning for a refund, $7.95 from the original total will be put towards your prepaid shipping label for your convenience. (U.S. Customers Only)

  • Do exchanges and returns need to occur within 60 days from receiving it?

    Yes, they do! Please make sure your harness is the one you need and the right fit for your dog as soon as you receive it.

  • My harness/product proved to be defective but we’re now outside the 60 day window. What do I do?

    You’re the exception to the rule. Our promise is the harness is the last you’ll have to buy with us, so if you run into issues, please contact us immediately! You won’t need to send back the harness, but please send pictures to speed the process for a replacement.

  • How long will it take for my refund to hit?

    Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to reflect on your bank statement once they are processed. Refunds will be put back towards the card billed.

  • What’s the difference between processing and shipping time?

    Processing is the time taken to receive, review, and prep your order to be shipped. Shipping time comes into play after your order has been processed.

  • How long are delivery times?

    Delivery time after your order is shipped depends on where you live. It can take up to 10 business days for you to receive your order after it’s been processed and shipped.

  • Do you offer priority shipping?

    Not at this time. We do, however, offer priority processing which bumps up your order’s placement in the queue of orders received.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    We ship to a limited amount of locations outside of the United States at this time at the flat rate of $7.95. Those locations include…

  • How long will it take my order to ship out?

    Orders typically take up to 5 business days to ship out with the shipping notice sent by the 7th day. Again, these are business days. If you haven’t received your shipping notice by the 7th business day from placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can handle your issue accordingly.

  • How do you ship your products?

    We ship harnesses and other products on our site through USPS. This means you can have it shipped to a PO Box, otherwise they will arrive straight to your mailbox.

  • Where does the harness ship from?

    We have a couple warehouses in the USA and overseas to help accommodate our global customers. Depending on what we have in stock and where you’re located will determine where the order is shipped from.

  • Can you ship to a PO Box?

    Yes! Because we ship our products using USPS, PO Boxes are honored.

  • Will this work for my toy chihuahua?

    Yes, granted your toy chihuahua is at least 5 lbs as our smallest size is best fit for dogs at least 5 lbs.

  • My dog is HUGE. We’re talking like 130 lbs. Will this fit them?

    We accommodate dogs up to 140 lbs! It’s all good. :) We’ve got Huskies, Goldies, Shepherds…. The works! It’ll fit.

  • My dog has a big wide chest. Would this be good for them?
